Welcome to my portfolio page. My name is Jerry Cox. I returned to college after several years. I chose to study at Dixie State University, located in Saint George, UT. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Communications - spring 2013,

I started to work on a Business degree in 1989 at Green River Community College. Green River Community College is located in Auburn, Washington.

Returning to school was a challenge that I decided to take. I started with the idea to get a degree in the integrated studies program offered at Dixie State. The area of Communication studies has always been an interest for me. I chose to study the area of Human and Organizational Communication to help with my current career. The actual degree is Communications - Human Track.

I have always been interested in the broadcasting area of communications, specifically radio. With the high competition for the jobs in that area and automation limiting opportunities for traditional jobs, I chose the area of study that was still close to what I love to do.

I found that I enjoyed the fun side of radio and was on the air at KXDS - St George, UT. Located at the college.

I tell everyone that I did this all backwards. Worked and then returned to school for the degree. I will have my work experience posted in detail in the resume section.
