Dixie State University - As part of the communication major, it is required to have an internship.
In 2012, I was able to utilize my place of employment for a work study and an internship. I was able to do two different opportunities at Walmart Store #1439. This store is located in Washington, Utah.
I was given extra responsibilities and goals to achieve as required through the communications program advisers. During both internship assignments I fulfilled the necessary requirements. In doing so I kept a log and documented how I used skills learned from classwork at Dixie State University. I was doing my normal task as a department manager, documenting the work and keeping track of the goals set by the advisers.
